Upcoming painting schedule

Chip
I have 3 opportunities for shows that are wanting abstract art. I don't normally do abstract but I promised to give it a try. There's always degrees of abstraction, I have an almost complete encaustic painting that I could finish up in a day and have ready. The show at Gallery 1212 would work well for displaying it. I just need to come up with a good frame for it. This is the biggest problem with it as the substrate is 2" clayboard. It will be somewhat heavy and will need a frame that will give good support. It will look fantastic when it is done so it will be worth the effort. I believe that I have pieces already completed for the one location. They want bold, modern pieces. "Chip" should do well for that one, provided they aren't offended by his man boobs. Then there is the 3rd location, and that one needs to be ready by Monday. I haven't decided on what to paint yet. Too late to prepare an oil painting so this would be a good opportunity to try something different. I will spend my weekend working on this project.
I also have to turn in a painting or 3 for a display at Doctor's Choice. They want nature, I have several that would work there plus another that I have been visualizing in my head using either ink or gouache. Both would give me the intensity that I visualize. I am leaning toward gouache on clayboard.
Oct. 30 I have to turn in a painting to Anselmo Gallery in the Meridian Mall. Most likely this will be one from my military pieces. By Thanksgiving I need to have my master's thesis completed and ready to ship. There's also 2 more paintings due at a couple of libraries.
This will keep my busy until the end of the year.
